Why do you need the Niré Face Prep Tool?

Believe it or not, this little silicone brush actually holds the key to a flawless complexion for make-up lovers everywhere. Cleansing your face everyday not only helps to remove make-up and skin impurities, but also promotes the regeneration of skin for that all important healthy glow. The Niré Face Prep Tool is the perfect cleansing tool — soft and gentle enough for sensitive skin, it has tiny bristles that can help unclog pores in all those hard to get areas. Use this little gem correctly to smooth and brighten your skin and create a perfect blank canvas for your make-up.

So, if you want glowing skin that’s going to give your highlighter a run for its money, follow our golden rules below...

  Golden rules for use:

  1. Always remove your make-up first
When it comes to cleansing, the Niré Facial Cleansing Brush works wonders, but for the best results start your cleansing routine right by removing as much make-up as possible. Then wash your face with water to help your cleansing brush work its magic.
  2. Use the right cleanser for your skin type
We can’t stress enough how important it is to use a cleanser that is specifically designed to be kind to your skin type. For those of you who are unsure of what kind of cleansing formula suits your skin, we’ve created a small table below. A cleanser suited to your skin type should go hand in hand with your Niré Facial Cleansing Brush to gently clean your skin without leaving it feeling dry, sensitive, or oily. After washing your face with water, apply cleanser using your hands and work it across your face — don’t worry about the excess, the brush will take care of that.
  3. The trick is in the circular motions
After applying cleanser to your face it’s time for your cleansing brush to shine. Rub off any excess product with the brush, then gently massage it over your face. Using circular motions to do this is the key to getting that glow — it actually helps to remove dead skin cells and stimulate circulation for tone and texture. Try using the larger bristles for areas such as the T-zone, and the smaller ones for more sensitive areas like under the eyes where the skin is thinner.
P.S. if you want to give your skin an extra little treat, you can actually follow cleansing with your favourite rejuvenating facial mask since your skin is more receptive to skin care products after cleansing and exfoliating. Plus, the brush actually helps to remove stubborn masks.
  4. Don’t forget the aftercare
After cleansing your face with the brush, you can rinse your face with water again and massage away any oils. Follow with your usual skincare routine specific to your skin type. If you feel like you may have missed anything, using a toner can help to remove any residue. Your skin should be left feeling shiny and new, but don’t forget to moisturise to help replenish your skin so that it keeps its new-found glow and doesn’t feel dry or tight.
  5. Your brush needs cleaning too
It’s not just your face that needs to be cleansed everyday, but your cleansing brush too. Make sure that once you’ve finished your skincare routine, you thoroughly wash your cleansing brush with running water and soap. This should help remove and residue of make-up or bacteria that might cause your skin to break out in future. Try to be as kind to your brush as it is to your skin.

Skin Type

Suggested Cleanser

Dry

Try oil-based cleansers that don’t dry the skin or strip it of its natural oils

Oily

Try foam or clay cleansers that work to draw out excess oil and bacteria from pores

Sensitive

Try cream cleansers that are gentle enough to cleanse the skin. Boost your natural skin turnover by using cleansers containing enzymes

Normal

Try gel or lotion-based cleansers that remove make-up and impurities, but also leave the skin feeling moisturised

Combination

Try gel cleansers that have exfoliating properties to remove excess oils, unclog pores, and remove bacteria

Acneic

Try AHA/BHA cleansing formulas to help remove excess oils, without stripping the skin of moisture completely which can lead to increased sebum production

Hyper-pigmented

Try cleansers containing glycolic acid to help break up pigmented cells that can cause dark spots

Follow our five golden rules, and we’re sure that you’ll be reaching for the Niré Face Prep Tool every day for silky smooth skin that your make-up (and your brushes) will thank you for.

Shine bright everyone!

WITH LOVE,
